 CHANGE Skincare offers an alternative to the chemical-heavy status quo. We create skincare that’s kind to your skin, your wallet, and the Earth—proving that eco-conscious doesn’t mean expensive or ineffective.

Our entire range—including face & body soaps, shampoo bars, and conditioner bars, creams & balms—are all handmade within our business. We don’t outsource, we don’t stock products from other brands, and we’re definitely not part of any multi-level marketing scheme or large company. Every item is crafted by us, with care and transparency in the North East of England.

Jill. Co-founder 

Jill brings a wealth of experience from retail management and sales, where she built a reputation for exceptional customer connection and problem solving. Her career later expanded into driving instruction, a role that perfectly matched her passion for helping others gain confidence, independence, and self‑belief.

Creativity has always been at the centre of who Jill is. She thrives on hands‑on projects and practical solutions, especially when those solutions can improve someone’s wellbeing. Her journey into natural skincare began as a deeply personal one: a family member was struggling with persistent skin problems that conventional pharmaceuticals weren’t helping. Determined to find something gentler and more effective, Jill began researching ingredients, crafting soap from scratch, and ultimately creating the first products that would evolve into CHANGE.

Jill has also faced her own challenges with women’s health conditions, giving her a lived understanding of how everyday products can affect the body. These experiences strengthened her belief that natural, low‑tox alternatives aren’t just a preference — they’re a pathway to reducing unnecessary suffering for future generations.

Raised in Hartlepool in the North East of England, Jill brings grounded wisdom, a curious spirit, and a love for travel. With ties to Scotland and the USA, she draws inspiration from diverse cultures and traditional natural remedies — each bar of soap tells a story shaped by the places and people who have influenced her.

Today, Jill is our chief maker and the heart behind every formula. She crafts each product from basic, carefully selected ingredients, blending skill, intuition, and compassion. Her work is rooted in real‑life experience, a desire to help others, and a belief that everyone deserves skincare that supports their health, not compromises it.

 

Emma, co‑founder of CHANGE, brings over 20 years of experience in retail management across sales, merchandising, business administration, and team leadership. She later spent more than a decade in retail finance as an account manager, building strong, trust‑based relationships and supporting clients through clear communication and practical problem‑solving. Alongside working full‑time and raising a family, Emma has navigated her own women’s health challenges — experiences that shaped her empathy, resilience, and commitment to wellbeing.

Her journey into natural skincare began through lived necessity. While searching for gentler solutions for herself and her family, she became passionate about low‑tox living: choosing SLS‑free hair and skincare, aerosol‑free deodorants, and everyday products made without harsh or unnecessary chemicals. This personal shift grew into a mission to raise awareness and make natural alternatives accessible to everyone.

Raised in Guisborough and still proudly based nearby, Emma now takes care of website design, content creation, branding, and all the behind‑the‑scenes systems that keep CHANGE running smoothly. She has a talent for turning practical processes into beautiful, user‑friendly experiences — ensuring the brand feels warm, trustworthy, and rooted in real life.

A skincare devotee, cat enthusiast, and avid traveller, Emma is always ready to take the show on the road and share CHANGE’s message: 'Spa‑quality skincare with high‑street prices, crafted with integrity and care.'
